Cleanup of matrices is the first, the most important, and the most critical step for both broad-spectrum screening and accurate determination of pesticides and their metabolites in vegetables, meats, drinks, and fruits. In most cases, solid phase extraction (SPE) methods are used to clean up the extracts before the GC-MS analysis. The ideal SPE material(s) should remove the greatest number of food matrix interferences and offer truly high recoveries for a broad spectrum of pesticides.
Tribioscience’s SPE-C18 column contains C18 silicon in a 6mL cartridge. It is used to clean up complex matrices, including tea, herbs, cannabis, hemp, and other food samples for pesticide residue analysis in GC-MS, and LC-MS analysis processing.
ApplicationsThe Fast Cleanup SPE-C18-CB method has been readily accepted by many pesticide residue analysts.

This “Super SPE-C18 Cartridge” are really helpful for our sample cleanup and with high recovery (70%-130%) and easy to use, same a lot of time and money.
SPE-C18 Spherical Silica-based Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) Cartridges are recommended for extracting polar to non-polar compounds when analyzing drugs and drug metabolites in biological matrices, trace organic material such as pesticides and toxins in cannabis and cannabis products.
The use of SPE-C18 sample preparation can significantly enhance the robustness and reliability of many biological, pharmaceutical, forensic, and environmental applications.
